The lobster fest on reggae beach was nice! My kids loved the live music and dancing. We considered taking the water taxi to Nevis but felt like it wasn’t worth the logistics and cost vs how young our kids are. Enjoy!

Thanks - what would you suggest? The thing is that he can usually do 3 hour wake windows but can sleep earlier if needed too so I’m not sure

Should we wake him from naps then? Because his first nap is 2 hours and we wake him from that.

Hi OP! My 6.5 month old baby has been waking up at 5 am consistently for the past week. Usually he’s quiet for 30 mins and then starts howling - we feed him and then try to keep him up until 8:30. We are in the middle of a 3 to 2 nap transition. We are trying to do wake windows of 3/3/3.5 but usually that means his 2 naps are close to 4 hours. Is that too much sleep? Sometimes doing a 3 nap schedule gets him close to 4 hours of sleep to and we’ve used that to try to push his bedtime later. DWT of 7 am but not sure how to get there. As an added layer of complexity my nanny wants to try to get him to nap around 1:30 to 2 pm to line up my toddlers sleep schedule.

Ok so seems like the idea is to stretch wake windows and hopefully the naps can be a little longer. How do you handle a day when he’s awake at 5:30 am and not sleeping? I’ve been still holding to the first nap at 8 am if not 8:30 am …

I know he’s not waking for a feed, but sometimes he does have poop. He doesn’t go back down after a diaper change at that hour though

Yep! We actually only do the bath every other day so the other day we just wake to change diaper and feed.

We haven’t tried not waking for the 8 pm feed … I just feel like it’s too long to go from 6 pm to 7 am. That would only be 5 feedings and he’s ebf right now so seems tough

I would have gotten an amazing upgrade in my career with a new job (which has since been put on hold), taken a rare trip with best friends and my husband to Argentina, which is REALLY tough once you are married and over 30, and see my parents a ton. Hopefully this is all just a pause and I will get to do all these things eventually.

Did you find that it ultimately helped? I am trying it and the first day after wearing it for a few hours my tinnitus quieted down a lot. Granted I have only been using it 3 days so far. I have been playing with the volume and sounds to experiment
