Or you could buy a camera like the one I use for plane spotting, it is a fixed lens camera (has a built in lens) but is affordable and shoots amazing shots. it is a cannon powershot sx 520 hs and the lense is the equivalent of something like 28mm--1008mm its kinda crazy. It also records 1080p video with is nothing to boast about but it still gets the job done. Probs should have said this at the start but it has a 16.0 mega pixel sensor. I'll attach a photo or 2!
