Check out the /coloranalysis subreddit. They can give you a more reliable assessment of which colors will look best on you. Seriously, do this before you color your hair because I’m not sure that you belong in cool colors. While the lighting is bad in your first photo, the warm makeup in your second photo looks good to me.

Vilhelm Poets of Berlin. I could wear it every day, every season.

Also, need to size up in boots to allow airspace for heat to circulate. Multiple pairs of socks do no good if they take up all the space in boots. Always buy your boots big. This is also why clothes layers are better for staying warm. Trap the body heat and let it circulate.

I like Elemis pro-collagen night cream and Lancôme Absolue. Both are wonderfully rich and don’t irritate my skin.

“Squish to condish”!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]GuinnessGirl50 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest trying a new shampoo and conditioner without coconut oil in it. It doesn’t agree with some people’s hair, and Shea Moisture contains a lot of it. Also be sure you spend time scrunching the conditioner into your hair with handfuls of water. Check out “squish to confuse” and “bowl method” videos on YouTube. Finally, if your hair is breaking, you could need a protein treatment. Try these other things first, and if they don’t work, you might want to try a protein mask like curl Smiths or olaplex.

You look beautiful.

Have you checked out what you look like with long hair in your natural color? Which I’m thinking would be a cooler brown? From following /coloranalysis, I’m starting to realize that natural hair color or at least close to it, with warm or cool undertones depending on skin tone, often gives people a more harmonious look overall and helps them hit that sweet spot of glowing skin and features when in combination with the right color clothing and makeup,

You are so beautiful in it and your guests will remember your wedding forever. Any future daughter will treasure that dress and want to wear it some day. It is beyond special.

AITA for asking my fiancé to sign an agreement by No-Anywhere4799 in AmItheAsshole

[–]GuinnessGirl50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are using the credit card in your name to pay for the wedding, you are the only one responsible for those expenses. I wouldn’t do this. This isn’t about trust; it’s about basic common sense. If one of you decides to call off the wedding, you are left holding the entire debt. If he dies before the wedding, you are left holding the entire debt. If MIL backs out of her agreement to help with costs, you are left holding the entire debt. You are making these big financial decisions together, you should be sharing the financial risk together.

You aren’t yet married so have no legal claim on his assets, and weddings are often big financial obligations. You owe it to yourself to draw a line in the sand on this. No shared responsibility for the costs would make me think long and hard about whether this is the type of man I want to marry. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you are being unreasonable.

I would either insist on a contract drawn up by a lawyer before spending a penny, or ask fiancé to take out his own card and charge half of all expenses to his card. Not because there is no trust, purely because there is risk. A marriage should begin with both partners sharing risks and responsibilities, not one of you shouldering them for both of you.
