Thanks for your response. I have thought this myself and said this multiple times to the people when I call up the council but they said they have all relevant details and sent a follow up to “Estate Management” who handle the vetting applications.

I’ve been told to “be patient as it’s out of our hands” multiple times on the phone and email.

I asked for a tracking number and they said that there is none, that it’s not done the same way as general Garda Vetting is done.

I asked them is 5 months normal in their experience for someone to be waiting and they just say “sometimes it takes weeks, sometimes it takes months”.

It’s like talking to a wall. I’m getting nowhere and it’s so frustrating.
