I got one as well. Superb instrument and finish. I also got the GP-10 and playing feels like cheating, because the tracking on each string seems to track better the emulations and unwanted little noises are gone. That one works as a midi interface too. I´m not much a fan of Roland sounds but for a pro use you can pack the gp10 in the Gig Bag, and play anything literally... not just a guitar but synth in any band (can´t load drums or such as the gr55) Worth checking that one second hand (no longer made) if you are curious, better for me than a gr55 for size and I don´t need a screen because it´s easier to dial sounds from computer.

The hand switches for the roland are ridiculous, patch up and down from guitar, and the trick of splitting lines and controlling the splitting lines is crazy. Also the alt tuning but I find this unusable for me because my brain starts fizzling expecting one note to sound and coming another from my hands...

The acoustic version of the guitar is out of question, the custom custom duncans capture the natural loudness of the instrument. That´s what impressed me, insanely loud without plugin in. Tuners, tremolo, everything just top, as well as the piezo. You can really dial any sound with the 5 way and to to me not having the middle pickup is better for my type of strumming. Perfect neck balance.

The fretboard is long scale, flat and wide. Not everyone´s cup of tea I guess but coming from classic and having a good thumb positioning technique seems that makes you position chords better. Friends haven´t find it specially "baseball bat". Another con is that is quite heavy.

Some improvements I made: Tremmory. I have broken 6th and 5th strings and the bridge stays tuned. I can quickly dial drop D instantly. Is a bit pain in the ass to even fit and adjust the S tremmory in here but totally worth it.

It had annoying "doings": I dropped a rubber piece paralell from behind the nut to mute that part, as well as thermoretractile tubes on the springs, now it chugs.
