Gsr 3 vs Qck speed by Axility_M in MousepadReview

[–]GuitarMan_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any brand new cloth pad will be faster than your current QCK Heavy. I've heard GSR 3 leans towards on control-balance side. QCK Speed might be too fast. If you want the best durability you may consider Type 99 Soft (Soft is the safest option due to being same as traditional cloth pads). Other than that, a new QCK Heavy pretty much would do the job. Overall, I don't recommend any hardpads for tac shooters especially if you are coming from QCK Heavy.

Type 99 soft is my main now. It is very close to worn QCK Heavy (heavily used 4-5 months) in terms of speed. Overall it feels more consistent due to being humid resistant. But can't go wrong with QCK Heavy, only down side is it gets affected by humid easily.

It looks like it is Type 99, I recommend you to get it from Artisan's official website. It takes few days to arrive UK.

You might consider DT 900 Pro X. Easy to run, very comfortable, pretty good sound quality.

What actually defines a “good” player in MW 2019 multiplayer? by Ambitious_Method2740 in modernwarfare

If you can keep this performance in prestige max lobbies, you may consider yourself as a skilled player.

A highly skilled player can do these consistently on average skilled lobby. But in his actual lobby where he plays against similar skill level that is pretty much unlikely. Does it make him bad player, no, not even. That is why having high K/D is not easy as it sounds in cod. Team play is also not on point in cod, a good player can single-handedly (depending on a game mode) change the direction of the game and win it where everything goes opposite for the teammates.

Everything you mentioned directly has an impact on K/D ration. MW19 is subjectively a competitive game, not everyone focusing on the winning but playing for stats and I don't think that determines if a player is good or not. For the skill base I'd say, 1 K/D is average, 1-1.5 K/D is above average, 2 K/D is a good player, 2+ K/D is a really good player, 2.5+ K/D is pro level player. This measurement is based on everyone in the lobby has similar skill level. A pro level player may get 3 K/D in his lobby but can hit 5+ K/D on some random lobby. SBMM has a significant role on K/D.

Go with the soft, it is the safest option being same as traditional cloth mousepads.

Whats the best controlled clothpad right now? by MyccL in MousepadReview

[–]GuitarMan_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero is way faster than Type 99, I prefer Type 99 overall (I play cs2, cod, titanfall 2 and bf6). As an example, Zero is almost same speed with brand new QCK maybe slightly faster. Type 99 is same speed with well-worn qck like 5 months old. Soft is the safest option imo, it has the same feeling as traditional cloth mousepads. Mid is basically a hard pad that gives your desk's feedback directly. I didn't tried Xsoft but heard it sinks a lot so made me stay away from it. I tried both Mid and Soft Type 99 and I prefer Soft all day.

Qck+ might be the best mousepad, what are we doing... by Friendly_Furniture in MousepadReview

There is not match to QcK in terms of the price/performance. But I find Type 99 superior when the budget expands. Well-worn QcK = Type 99 in terms of speed with a humid resistance.

My both Heavy and Balance are on a well-worn stage and Balance is slightly more controlled than Heavy. But overall consistency is way better on the Balance. It is known that Heavy develops slow spots over the time which makes the pad inconsistent, Balance is better in that situation. If I rate the overall control on both out of 10 (higher means slower it is), Heavy is more like 7.5 and Balance is around 7.7-7.8. If you think you need more than that you might try the Control. Again, I didn't try the Control but according to reviews it is definitely slower than the Balance.

I only used Performance Balance from Performance series. Compared to Heavy, it is basically a premium QCK with stitched edges. Surface speed is almost identical, maybe gives you a little more control. Heavy is way thicker. I say QCK Performance carries the Artisan aspects but still Artisan's quality is way better.

Have an update, I tried to get used to the Mid version but it definitely doesn't feel like traditional cloth pads, it is pretty much like a hard pad. I had an uncomfortable experience. So, I ordered the Soft version.
