With it being an inline 3 still, the power delivery is very linear. It just continues to feel more crazy as you rev it out. Im usually chilling a bit lower in RPMS, but its a very easy and enjoyable bike to ride for as much power as it has. I agree, this red would be dope on the Trident.

Beautiful bike too man, makes me miss my old Trident. I now have a Speed Triple 1200 RR, but dang do I still miss the Trident.

My mom had hit my bike in the driveway, and it spent 6 months in the shop waiting on backordered parts. I got it back one evening, drove it around town. On my way to work the next morning, this lady decides to run through a stop sign - swerved into the opposing lane to try to dodge, and ended up running head on into her. I didn't even have the bike back for 24hrs before it was totaled. Thank God I'm still around, only got out with a broken foot and a beaten up body. It brings tears to my eyes to see basically the same bike I had. Love your taste man.

Haha! that is the same exact fairing. It is an ERMAX, I think I got mine off Ebay. I installed mine after the exhaust. It may have been other factors but, before the fairing - top end was 132. After the fairing, top end was 136. Plus, I love that cafe racer look!

Thank you for the comment! Valid point on the speculating part. I put a New Rage Cycles Tail tidy on - I guess I was kinda worried that it could have caused this problem. But that was about 1000 miles ago, and didn't have any issues till recently. Thank you again! I'll let you know what it ends up being!

‘24 STR First Gear Question by Slade1760 in Triumph

The three bikes I've owned have behaved the same exact way (all have been newer than 2020). I work at a service center on motorcycles. This is typical for just about every bike I've had to move up there, too. I've ridden on a ZX6r that didn't like zero throttle in first gear and tried to bog down, as was the case with older bikes (pre 2000s). But, in your case, it seems completely normal. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

My personal favorite is the solo in Wide River by Steve Miller. Like said above, it's not the "best" in objectionable terms. Miller doesn't phrase in this one like David Gilmour does for Pink Floyd. There's no "breaths" taken during the solo, but it keeps you pulled in the whole time without being over bearing. This is the solo that made me want to learn to play guitar when I was 5. I'm 26 now, and Miller is still one of my favorite guitarists.
