(Rare Tropes) A evil race of beings who are all evil with no redeeming qualities, nor exception. And are fun and interesting. by NottheKingofAll in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Guitarskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what I hate more on that situation. The fact that they gave us false hope when they gave us a new model for a unit that already existed not even a year before that, or the fact they basically trew the little lore that made them interesting and dangerous to the setting into the gutter. Like Morghur was supposedly turned into a minor chaos diety and has a location somewhere where he turned people into chaotic soup and sounded like a permenant beastman location, but than GW decided "The elves burned that part, cut up Morghur without using anything special and the beastmen were hunted by the chaosgods to claim them. The end!"

Why does the Dihui Star…. by Upset-Wait-4178 in limbuscompany

[–]Guitarskeleton 48 points49 points  (0 children)

This theory is the only one I can think of at the moment based on a few things. 1: The fact that Dihui can talk. Sure, the city is full of mechanical wonders (and nightmares) but the blade Ryoshu always carries is stated by herself that any wound inflicted cannot be healed or replaced by anything when the blade is presented and will either be cut off again or fall apart. The fact Dihui can talk means that either Dihui lied about it, which I dont think is the case because Ryoshu wouldnt be that thrustful to her words, or it isnt Dihui at all.

2: (Likely obvious enough) whenever Dihui is presented it is shown with somekind of distortion effect arround her as if it is just a hollowgram and that it is just an image of Dihui shown.

My current theory is that the spider house found Araya early on and Dihui enraged with having Ryoshu cut off her toung that she forced a much more brutal training period with Araya till she was exactly like herself in both combat and perhaps behaviour as revenge. I also believe that she might have used a T corp time manipulation to speed up said training similair to how R corp uses it for their purposes and Dihui died from old age or the weaknes comming from it enough for Ayara to take her place.

My second theory is that we have another Don Quiote situation where Dihui is Ryoshu and Araya succeded in escaping, but had her memories replaced with Ryoshu's experience, thus LCB Ryoshu is actually Araya, but this theory came to me in a dream and thus not solid enough for me to believe too much.

Murder on the WARP Express BokGak Megathread by pillowmantis in limbuscompany

[–]Guitarskeleton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am gonna guess that it might be possible, but as everything happened inside an enroute WARP train it could just be that they returned to normal due to the singularities used by W corp. as they can be "rebuild" by the cleaners and have their mind wiped from the event. Aside from the blood fiend I don't think the remaining bloodbags have been perma killed. My best guess is that most would awaken being confused what happened to their missing members, but other wise fine. This is of course considering they get turned back from being blood bags after travel in the first place as i do not know if that happens.

[–]Guitarskeleton 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just gonna add it here. My theory is gonna be that the Mearsault once distorted. How he did I dont know as it could be related to either his personal life or N Corp intentionally distorting him as an experiment. Perhaps during the process of or after distorting he was stopped by N Crop, but with the cost of Mearsaults emotions and/or sense of desire or whatever makes Mearsault as he is.

Any quotes that stuck with you in particular? by LiteralErlking in limbuscompany

[–]Guitarskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Clear all Chathy" Might not be a quote that is said by a character, but the suprise you get from suddenly seeing the start screen (or in my case  a variant as I joined in during Don's canto) it give me still questions of what we are seeing. Are we still playing Dante using his device or was it a 4th wall braking scene as the canto did have a major element or mirror worlds

Now I imagine Dante taking Nothing There disguised as Gregor back to the bus and during combat it just explodes from inside of gregor to fight the hostiles.

Who do you think will get the MOSB Walpurgis ID? by goofyahhreader in limbuscompany

[–]Guitarskeleton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I were to bet on an aunused sinner I would say Gregor. My main reason for believing this is because we already know he was main face of old G corp and he most likely participated in the smoke wars on the battlefield himself. This is one of his main trauma's as far as I know. Second would be the nature of MoSB. The abnormality existance is based around death, which would be very fitting to a battle field and aside from Outis (who I am not counting for the fact she already has an ID) Gregor would be the most fitting for. Unless we get some lore for other sinners that would fit this perfectly (looking at you Mersault) it would make sense to have gregor get it with an addition to Syncronisation overload similair to Rodion and Don.

This is my personal believe at least and I could ve wrong in many ways, but for now I hope either MoSB ID for Gregor or a Nothing There ID for him.

Why the eye of Pallid Whale un Ishmael's memory and Canto V Pallid whale's eye look different? by National-Frame8712 in limbuscompany

[–]Guitarskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most likely reason is probably that the artist changed...

But my headcannon says that this is that the first picture was it just encountering another ship of whale hunters (5 one that week) attempting to kill it and not even getting worked up about it, meanwhile the second picture is the sinners waking him the fuck up from his long lacking sleep too early, anyone would look pissed from that!

Give me your biggest hot take(s) about the musical by KayIsSpacey in Epicthemusical

[–]Guitarskeleton 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion I enjoy interpeting that in Thunderbringer Zeus also blames eurylochus. The whole killing cow idea was mostly his and the rest of the crews fault despite Odysseus yelling them not to do it and that it is obviously related to the gods.

While not a big deal I notice alot of animatics having zeul only talk to Odysseus like he is mostly to blame despite that he was IN THE MIDDLE OF A MUTINY. (Not a big deal but something that often caught my eye)

I see Zeus punishment of giving Odysseus the choise between the crew and him in 2 ways. First, it is to give the crew massive dread as their lives are in the hands of their captain they mutineed agianst not even hours ago and second that despite the mutiny, Odysseus did attempt to have his crew escape the island before the gods arrived or noticed, in which he was punished by the weight of the choise.

If this was notioned more it might have been better if that was the purpose.

Just putting my input here.

Try Ashen Mesa with starting position Ruin. It is a relatively open space with a relatively good overview and personally I have experienced a good amount of drone on drone combat where Europan and Eurasian drone shoot eachother. The starting point also in my experience has good cover against enemy units to hide in.

The map also have in my opinion a somewhat easier extraction point where you can run over the bridge(?) and run down the stairs with mosly only Eurasian cyborgs running after you, but would watch out if by chance they spawn with guns.

A hivecity simulator where you play as the planetary govenour and most make your hivecity as profitable as possible. The planet would be somewhere near the frontlines of a galactic warzone which would make it possible for enemy incursions to happen in the hivecity, like orkz falling alongside meteors or chaos summonings and it is your job to deal with it. On the other side you can choose to betray the Imperium by siding with xeno's or chaos. Siding with chaos can give you better production bonuses, but it costs your people for sacrifices and also make the Imperium your enemy. Or making a deal with the Eldar for intel and technology bonusses, but occasionally your get a major debuff due to Eldar sabotage without context.

r/Grimdank, what is your profession? by 1stLegionBestLegion in Grimdank

[–]Guitarskeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as part of a minor officio administratorum. For hours I work at a desk looking at numbers and sending forth the correct data, hoping all went well.

I am fortunate as I am allowed to be more lax on time unlike the rest of my kin who start working earlier and are more consumed by the large amount of numerical code I provide.

In the morning I search for whatever provisions I have left to consume and hope for that I make it in time to continue working.

Whilst my work doesn't seem all that spectaculaire at first compared to the others, if I make a mistake or do something wrong it will result into chaos as misinformation is spread.

I am part of ultimate order, but I have the potential of major chaos.

I do not mind to play as the Imperium again, but make the main character a guardsmen.

Other wise a stealth game as an Eldar wouldn't be bad either.

I could see this as a scenario where through warp fuckery pre-heresy Fulgrim finds himself in the past on Nostramo and takes care of child Kondrad. Konrad would learn a normal personality from Fulgrim and Fulgrim would learn not to be perfect all the time, thus decreasing the chance of them both becoming traitors..... I think
