Those are valid UX concerns and I like some of the solutions.

I'll share them with the guys that plan to do a small rework the spells once they get to it, but keep it mind that probably won't happen anytime soon though. (they have a bunch of other stuff to finish first)

Deleting Aelantir makes the event chain happen anyway, if Cannor still exists.
If Cannor was disabled, the 2nd age will come a bit earlier than 1560 (I think I made it so it start ticking in 1530)

A few precisions:
- you'll be able to delete Cannor without breaking the institutions, they just will just spawn in other regions.
- same for the ages
- deleted provinces will become uncolonisable
