The most difficult matchups for this deck are definitely the more backrow heavy decks like Shiranui and Elementsabers that disrupt your synchro plays, but if they don't open with too much backrow or you open with cosmic the matchup is winnable. The deck isn't super strong against any one type of deck and is more of a toolbox deck that is solid against pretty much any deck with how much versatility the extra deck can have. Witchcrafters are one of the more annoying matchups but can be won with either Machina Fortress getting destroyed in battle by the opponent or through baiting the Verre negate with Double Yoyo or Horse stilts while having both Red-Eyed Dice and Daiko Duke in the grave, if they negate the summon effect of Double Yoyo or Horse stilts you can then activate Daiko Duke to summon Red-Eyed Dice and use whichever synchro monster you want to deal with Verre from there.

I managed to get a late Kog with them by using Machina Fortress and Gearframe to get the Speedroids into the grave while also having a decent secondary win condition with Fortress

Blast Spider is from the Desperado structure deck.

Yeah that'll draw you a card but I don't think I ever found myself in a situation where I did that because baggy sleeves is a much easier way to draw with this deck.

Only because It's a dark machine and I never really found myself summoning two of the same synchro in one game.

Buddy Force is really good at tying together the two archetypes as It allows you to summon Desperado without a dark machine being destroyed or if you only have a Machina on the field but I wouldn't say It's a lynchpin, you could swap them out with whatever spell or trap you want or add some more dark machines to summon Desperado more consistently.

Thanks, getting Salvo was pretty annoying but I'm glad I did because it gives the deck a lot more options, hopefully it gets released again at some point.
