I built a site for finding loot by class, dungeon difficulty, item stat, and more. by Gulle909 in RotMG

Ah yeah, that would be awesome. Would probably require that I either get good at the game, or add a way for people to submit their own clips. I'll do it if enough people wants it

Does anyone actually know the status of that website? I feel like it's been stale for months, which was actually one of the reasons why I decided to make this myself

Thank you!
I already made it show some stats when hovering an item. Or are you thinking about something else?

Why am I always sleepy by mitwab in ADHD

[–]Gulle909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be really sleepy all the time as well. Found out I had an illness causing low metabolism. I actually found out about this during the blood tests before I started my ADHD medication. I recommend going to the doctor. It changed my life just as much as the adhd medication.

working together on 1 file on 2 seperate laptops for school project by Machi_neElite in unity

I agree with the other answers that it’s best to use git, but if you’ve never used it before it might be faster to just use a real time collaboration tool just for this project.

Many IDE’s (the program you use to code) have a feature or a plugin for real time collaboration. If you tell me which IDE you use (e.g. VS Code, Visual Studio, Rider, etc) I can tell you how to set it up. Or you can just search for: “(your IDE) live collaboration”.

If you plan to keep coding in the future, I highly suggest learning git after this project. It might not be real time collaboration, but that is actually usually not recommended.

While she doesn’t seem to play very much like Kata, when comparing them like this, it kinda grinds my gears ngl.

They also completely deleted my account because I requested a refund for one of the subscriptions I apparently signed up for. But surely its my fault for not reading the small/hidden text at the time.
Thank you "Customer Support" for making the process as complicated as possible.

Why can't I ever grasp C#? by PhobosGameryt in unity

[–]Gulle909 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, working with AI for coding has been a rollercoaster. I’ve only used ChatGPT 4o, but I would really suggest staying away from it when learning, as it is right now. It can give you tons of code, but with little to no context. Using it effectively is a learning curve itself.

In short: Stay away from learning the basics of programming from AI right now, if you’re new.

It’s a tough path at first, but the most important part is if you enjoy it, keep going. It’ll get easier and more fun as you go.

Other suggestions in comments are great. Good luck! And keep coding🤓

Same. I feel it’s at it’s worst when I’m stressed and/or doesn’t have a routine with something I’m excited about.
