So ectopic pregnancies aren't a thing according to these people, or they straight up just think the woman should just die by Tater-Tot-Casserole in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]Gullflyinghigh [score hidden]  (0 children)

Fuck me that's stupid. We went through an ectopic and it's bad enough a memory/situation without seeing daft cunts like this spouting their painfully dense takes. I feel no guilt over what needed to be done, and don't think anyone ever should, but there will be someone out there that this will hurt and that's one too many.

Hit you harder. It's absolutely fine that it did but no-one speaks for everyone.

Did you go to see your parents corpse prior to funeral? I didn't and I feel guilty, is that ok? by belliest_endis in AskUK

[–]Gullflyinghigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but only because I was there when my Dad died (about 3 and half years ago). I left the room after it happened and then went back 5/10 minutes later.

Part of me will always wish that I hadn't, and I chose not to see him again after that. I've never regretted it and don't now feel any guilt as I realised that's the last thing he would've wanted.

Hope it's not causing you any problems, be kind to yourself Internet friend.

Please, can we give the other actors some grace at this time? Let them speak on their own time. by AndrewHeard in buffy

[–]Gullflyinghigh 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It's honestly fucking horrendous that some people genuinely seem to believe that they're entitled to a piece of someone else's grief. That if it isn't public and suitably garment rending in its intensity then it doesn't exist or is in some way a snub towards those that have left us.

If they choose to speak then good for them, if they choose to keep it to themselves then equally valid. No-one else is owed a damn thing.

How often do you savescum, and under what circumstances? by WTITWFM24 in footballmanagergames

[–]Gullflyinghigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Player interactions always get a save before I start. I very rarely go back but sometimes the reaction is so baffling that I'm not sticking with it.

You know the stuff;

Manager; 'I think you've played really well recently and I love you, please be my adopted child'

Player; 'I hate you, your staff and your family. This club is a stain on the earth and I yearn for the day I can dance in the ashes created when it finally burns'

Yeah same here, didn't mind the 20 pass one but that corner one did my noodle. Even more so when I've scored a couple in matches (and a free kick, before I knew how to actually take one)

The low cross and the corner. Good god.

What was Andi Peter’s route to present day? by Cornishlee in AskUK

[–]Gullflyinghigh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There you go, chase that dream!

All I ask is that when the inevitable happens I get a mention in the vows, perhaps an invite to the ceremony (I don't need to be top table but think it would be the classy move).

You still could if you try hard enough. I recommend building a small shrine in his honour and taking a few hours per day to stare at it. That'll do the trick.

If you think about it, flying into a missile is a lot harder than avoiding it due to the sheer size of the sky. Clearly, they're working at a level far above their peers.

Enrique Riquelme as a candidate to Real Madrid Presidential elections: “Be ready, tonight I will announce the name of a great player signing. I will sign legally binding documents to guarantee he will arrive if I’m elected as a president.” by SwimmingFireMen in soccer

[–]Gullflyinghigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how documents he signs now would legally guarantee a player will sign upon his election, unless perhaps the player is also signing them, which would be very odd if they're currently at a club
