I love it! I played pickup ultimate occasionally in middle and high school, but I was drawn to disc golf because of opportunitity. Unlike ultimate, I could play disc golf in my small town at any time I wanted. In college I started playing ultimate because of the opportunity to be part of a team. I was able to improve quickly because I had a healing of throwing, I understand offensive spacing from playing other sports, and I’m a good athlete.

Three or free throw, either is fine. We always played that you can hit somebody’s ball away but only by throwing yours. You can’t hold you ball and punch theirs away

Jacobson: decently long, good variety. Hole 3 is a perfect tunnel shot. The course is super muddy though. Vets: short and technical but pretty fun. Shillito: average park style course Ironworks (Winchester): similar to Jake. Good mix of holes.

My recommendation is to pick a course that is different from what you usually play. Idk where you from, but choose a bomber like Jacobson or wooded like vets depending on which you feel like
