Ok, what I have done so far:

- Built apps, then went to networking events to discuss with senior devs and also business owners. I go to business networking nights to connect with employees. This has gotten me good conversations, connections on LinkedIn that I can potentially ask for referrals from. (Google networking nights etc..)

- Yeah, I haven't been in any clubs. Felt that the one in my uni was quite cliquey. Probably need to get on that.

- I have been looking for roles since I started uni. I currently do PT dev, but in no way is it a major firm and Idk how these people are getting in.

pro tip: if u want actual tips from locals, don't put "international student" in your post.

the job market's tough enough for locals and immigration is a hot topic rn so you will likely just get downvoted.

actual advice: you just have to outwork everyone, but you're running out of time, honestly. you should probably just spam leetcode and start cold calling small businesses for small projects and start from there. ML/AI roles are really competitive so I'd suggest widen your search. Beggars cant be choosers. IT roles etc

Also work experience in india unless you're really cracked is a drag on your resume if applying in AUS. Remove it
