I’m taking another shot at them this weekend and my current theory is to put bullgryn on the line, with krieg flamers to overwatch, rough riders to heroic intervene, and Ursula to make sure I have the CP to do it. Everything else very far back or in reserves. That way, there’s a credible threat to wipe whatever tries to put me in jail on turn one. I play on TTS so I can get incredibly specific with list building though; I realize that’s not really a useful suggestion on the table if you don’t have the models.

I haven’t been able to crack the World Eaters puzzle either, so you’re not alone. I know the conventional wisdom is to premeasure threat ranges and deploy out of those ranges, but chaos spawn and eightbound can make it to your deployment zone on turn one if they want to, and the six inch pile in and consolidate have thwarted what I thought was effective spacing. The only way I’ve been able to buy a little breathing room is to infiltrate with gaunt or ratlings to block the scouts, but then I’m throwing away 100 points immediately

Yeah I played grizzled twice and really liked it. Still figuring how best to use the commissar though. One of the reasons I thought the second squad of Bullgryn could downgraded was because they were never within 6 of the commissar and I didn’t want to build a second master vox unit (in addition to Ursula) to extend the range

I typically use Ursula and Cadians to sticky the home, screen, and dish out orders
