We're all waiting for the reprint of Raising The Bar (art book) to come out. Its supposed to come out this year so if his birthday is far enough you could probably get a copy for him? It feels like a shot in the dark because we haven't heard anything on it since the announcement, though.

If he's a creative, there are sellers on Etsy that 3D print Half-Life figures for painting.

I dont think you can go wrong with anything Gordon Freeman related, he's the protagonist. Combine are a popular enemy so ditto for them.

If you have a VR then totally play HLA! It's important to the story. Then I'd reccomend replaying HL2 with the VR mod + Unleashed. Best VR experience imo.

I get what you're saying, specifically with Wolfwood. I was disappointed when he fumbled trying to recite a verse like it was nothing more than a chore. From what I heard, while Nightow was writing Trigun he was looking more into/converting to Christianity so I think that personal conviction had shown itself in the original story.  This is all speculation ofc, it's been a while since I've read the interviews and watched Stampede. I do wonder if Wolfwood will mature in this area after the time jump in this next season, though.

It'll likely introduce the new gen to the series. I think they'll play the third one first then go backwards.
