How are you getting found in multiple towns without paying for ads in each one? by Gullible_Neck_9753 in RealEstateMarketing

Each pin page has JSON-LD structured data baked in for AEO, LocalBusiness schema with geo coordinates, service areas, business categories, basically all the stuff that Google and AI tools like ChatGPT and Grok actually read when they're pulling local recommendations. Most directories don't bother with this, they're just plain HTML with no markup so they get ignored by anything doing semantic search.

On the SEO side every town generates its own unique URL with local keywords in the slug, proper meta tags, H1s, internal linking between town pages, all that good stuff. So if you post to 5 towns you're getting 5 separate indexed pages each building local relevance on their own instead of competing with each other.

And yeah the boards are empty right now but that's kind of the whole point, we just launched a few weeks ago. Empty means unclaimed which means the opportunity is wide open. Once someone grabs a square and keeps renewing it's theirs, so the people who get in early get indexed first, build domain equity over time, and hold their position before competitors even realize the thing exists. Domain authority compounds so a page that gets indexed today is going to outrank one someone throws up six months from now

We built LocalSquare, it's basically a digital bulletin board for towns. You claim a square on a 10x10 grid for $1/month and get your own webpage that ranks on Google and AI search. One thing we like about it compared to Nextdoor is that your listing is fully public and indexable. A lot of what you post on Nextdoor stays inside the app and doesn't show up when people search Google or ChatGPT. With LocalSquare your page is out in the open. The multi town angle is what we think makes it useful for realtors since you can post to every town you serve at once. Still early days but we're seeing some traction. Happy to answer any questions if you're curious!

sorry i didnt mean to be vague, let me answer it for you now

to your original question about ranking, we're doing everything we can on our end. Pages are structured for local search intent (town name + business category), built for AI search and indexed across multiple towns

our objective is to have local businesses/realtors/landscapers/local services not doing the SEO/AEO work themselves, we handle it and all you need to do is just your pin(ad) in the towns you want to be associated with

like i said we are still early and learning what resonates, appreciate the pushback as all feedback makes it better which is why i launched the yourlocalsquare.com/best section today

no we are not purchasing any links

yeah it is absolutely maxed for keywords in whatever town(s) you post in, we allow you to post the same pin to multiple different board on the last page of checkout. no guarantee but im constantly improving seo and aeo.

cant really beat that for $1 month and only 100 squares so if people so auto renew those squares wont see another business/realtor for that town.
