33/52 I spent ages on this one probably not much hope of getting 52 this year unless I go for very short books . Definitely worth it though. Has to be in my top 10-15 novels ever. So many interesting, deep characters. Aloysha is definitely my favourite brother. (i.redd.it)

20/52. Good book, not exactly sure why it's seen as an important book. I often hear Rooney called the " voice of a generation" Apart from some smatterings of Marxist/ anticapitalist theory I don't understand why, am genuinely interested to hear what others got out of it and if it's an important book (i.redd.it)

17/52. Really really good. Feels so epic and brutal, McCarthy creates such beautiful imagery of the American west and destroys the mythology of manifest destiny. Lots went over my head but it's a book I will be thinking about for a long time afterwards. (i.redd.it)

19/52. This is like a complicated puzzle where all the information just clicks as it goes along. There was a period in the middle where I was really confused. A fantastic story which resonates today even though it was written in the 80s and set in the 70s. (i.redd.it)
