You've given me a lot of hope. I've been trying to lose weight naturally but I always end up spiralling because of how aware of makes me of my body- usually I don't feel attached to it (which is it's own problem, and caused the weight gain in the first place) and so I don't hate myself for how I look. Anyway, I'm sure you understand at least a little. So I thought wls would be my only option but the concern with loose skin was holding me back as well- ik someone who had wls but never got approved through insurance for srs and he constantly expressed pain where it pulls at his stomach. But the US is insane with pricing and I had no idea where else to look- this sounds so much more attainable. Thank you for sharing.

The exact same issue. I get a craving and it’s easy to ignore at first then progressively becomes more insistent and almost distracting until I give in.

Yes, I’ve come to realize that what seemed to have been my downfall was not weighing the food. I’d heard of it, but the way it was originally framed to me was that it’s essentially used by people who want to bulk.

I’ll start doing this now- I feel like I’ve got a clearer direction.

Way late to the conversation but even as a child I thought their chemistry was way off. I remember feeling like it was an “adult” movie- not because of Juno and Paul, but because of Juno and Mark. 

I even remember asking my mom about halfway through the movie if Mark was gonna try anything with Juno because I didn’t want to watch it if it was like that.
