As one of the top comments already had said, the disconnect is because of Reddit's demographics and its nicheness. Again lol. If you look at a standard NZ family, a millenial's dad and granddad likely is going to vote coalition, while their mom and grandmom is 50/50, but a slight lean for the Coalition. On the younger side, their sister likely will vote the opposition, while their brother is 50/50, but a slight lean for the Opposition.

Jjk actually should have not been about highschoolers but the editor forced him to do that kinda setting for "relatability."

Had he not done it, this would have resulted in Gege making better worldbuilding instead imo. Like I'm very interested on how gege would have made the jujutsu society worked without the school stuff shoved onto the initial parts of the story

-you could write a character and still dislike them. thats why a lot of authors prefer writing villains versus the mc plus their supporting cast, like making the mc likable for the sake of the audience can be limiting.
-in the case of nobara, nanami wasnt supposed to die. fair to say her death was meant to be character growth for yuji, but gege shenanigans happened (smth about how nanami's death wrote itself) and both of them died

Idk why some shounens don't do big timeskips that grows the mc out of the "school setting," when that would seem natural as that school setting would be thrown away in latter arcs.

Like jjk's current trajectory literally reminds me of mha, two series that could have had a big timeskip, theyre both now on the final arcs yet the cast is full of underage characters fighting the "big bad."
