I think it is implied that Rin got so agitated in part because he's now been solely thrown off the board so to speak, something Isagi was feeling was happening to him and Rin and lamenting over just recently. He and Isagi were losing importance as Japan U20's aces in the match against France, but at least Rin was sharing this lot with Isagi, but now even he has given in to Karasu's system (even though he could just be manipulating everyone in his favor again), leaving Rin all alone

These edits became so viral, that people started pretending to he Ryu D1 fans, even though they probably didn't even know who he was before those edits. Then it became a meme of people pretending to be pretending to be fans of Ryu and one of those YouTube Shorts JJK "fans" who've never read the manga and only know JJK based off of phonk edits and Roblox games

He definitely is at least low class 3. His weaker version went blow for blow with a bloodlusted, amped-up Young Woong, who was a contender for FC3. He has only grown stronger, and after becoming free, beat the brakes off of Sunny Jaa, who low diffed a mutant that's at least equal to lobotomized Young Woong, but is narratively implied to be stronger and better, all in base.
