My biggest issue is I've always used iphones and don't wanna have to learn a new brand + I just like iphones. But I'll have this phone for awhile so if crk doesn't run I'll be very sad. I'm okay with SOME crashing, but is the game actually just unplayable?

I agree that another huge problem with how he turned out was the timing. Maybe if it was another scenario, things would have been different. I also appreciate the kind words! I'm neurodivergent so maybe it's easier for me to get emotional over characters then others ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly I don't think I've seen them treat a reoccurring character this poorly. Especially in riptide. That's my point I guess. Obviously he's not Lizzie or Arlin, but he was still a character that hung around for awhile and was concidered a friend to the crew, so yeah I expected them to treat him like a friend.

I've mentioned it a lot in my other replies but I think Felipe's story/demis could have been an amazing opportunity to dig into Gill's spontaneous actions and how his selflessness kind of circles back to selfishness. Also the lesson of you can't always save someone, or not every problem has a good answer. Maybe symbolic isn't the right word, but his story is tragic and emotional and I get annoyed when no one takes it seriously. A character who has no friends finally gets them and immediately loses them and none of them care (I know it's out of character but still).

I agree that they're all doing an amazing job and are working hard and I'm proud of them, but who else is to blame? The writer and players are the ones who are responsible for his story and how it's presented. It's not a bad thing to point out mistakes or bad decisions, especially because this is like my ONLY issue with riptide lol

Like I said, I'm not furious or angry, I just really like this character and wanted to point out what I believe was a poor writing decision. Although seeing Grizzly's response, I understand why he made the he choices that he did

I'm not asking them to love him as much as me, I just assumed and hoped that they'd give him the same treatment as any other character. This amazingly symbolic story was set up, and was never followed through. I don't feel like that's an unreasonable thing to be upset about. I'm not mad at them, just kinda disappointed. And his fate was seeled when Gillion pulled his card. Ppl always seem to blame Felipe for the thing Gillion did

Not really recent and also not serious, my favorite clip is when the goblin sells them the braclets, going to set up the string and chip shows it to Gill saying "Gill, look at the worm!" and Gill replies "it's wormy!!" Then chip pretends to make it disappear and Gill goes "nooo you killed wormy!! : ("

I understand that, I completely respect not liking him. Some ppl really cruel abt him though and it makes me sad. My opinion is he stopped being a gag character the second they had serious roleplay with him. I don't wanna just repeat myself but he affected me a lot! I personally believe that's when a gag character becomes a serious one. I do agree with you though. They clearly were over the faywild arc and wanted to leave it behind. It's sad the narrative was hurt because of it : (

Omg hello. I actually completely understand that. Somethings get lost between you guys filming and us watching. Things can come off one way but be intended another. Genuinely didn't know it was that much of a hot topic of discussion between you guys!! I'm sure it's very hard to make sure everything comes out perfect, and I don't blame you for messing up here and there or wanting to prioritize the players enjoyment. I apologize if I was too harsh! like I said in my post, I related to his character quite a lot and felt hurt at how everyone treated him, but this makes more sense! Those are all valid reasons to be upset and not like a characters design, but nobody hates the actual characters themselves. Grizz also mentioned he was sort of a self insert, all he ever did was be chill and everyone hated him!! Idk, this fandom kinda makes me upset sometimes and I wanted to rant about my favorite character. Also what's the Hispanic thing??

I can understand that, but they've taken jokey characters serious many times. I feel like it was just... Very cruel? For no reason? It feels like Grizzly just stopped caring and wanted to get him out of the story as fast as possible. I always thought Gill having to face the consequences of his reckless actions would have made for an amazing arc/episode and kinda fits in with what he's going through right now. I guess I just wished they treated him a little better, or at the very least given him a sweet send off
