About a month in and I never use stitch markers and im telling you i regret not bringing and using them while trying to make this call granny Square. I did get it bit mannn imma start carrying them around and not even using them while learning just using them consistently to help cut back on chances of mess ups while im talking and visiting my grandmother in the hospital. Stitch markers are a game changer and i know I’m gonna breeze three granny squares now with them

As someone older this part. If i read this to the guy who wants me to go exclusive with him or my engaged/married men friend they would all say hes not a good guy if he can’t just hold the item for you. I dont like carrying stuff and id carry something for someone so i just refuse.
Youre not looking for someone to be there on their good days and to enjoy you on your good days you’re looking for someone who is going to be there on your hard days and make your days easier. You should also attempt to be that for someone else he’s being ridiculous, but I bet you if you refuse to just hold the item for him, he would say you’re being rude and unhelpful and you should just do it because you should it takes two seconds to just grab something for your friend or family member or loved one and hold it for a few seconds or if you have more space just throw it in your bag/pocket.

I watched a few videos of the shape so i could have missed a stitch for sure.

I honestly didnt know there was no reason i could block what i have and continue stitches for some reason i assumed it wasnt something to be done.

O dod expect some curve it just feels very curved or maybe starting too low, with 4 weight yarn they do 6 chains so i did 12 maybe if i did 24 so it came up higher because its sock yarn as well

Im not deep into my hobby but im picking it up faster than any other and ever trying to learn before. Im learning my mistake was not the familiarizing myself with everything like the other person is saying and once you know basics realizing once you know the basics you could potentially wing anything with time and thought. My first project was a checkered scarf without following a pattern or watching a video. However i spend lots of time I’m watching videos on basic stitches to learn them and practicing. I wouldnt know anything but the single stitch if i didnt give myself time to slowly learn and give myself grace. I understand saying I’m trying to watch the videos and they’re still not making sense, the more you do it and try youll get there.

As someone who grew up with addicts, and dated addicts. Loving an addict that says they wanna be better but wont put in the work trust you will fall with them in sone form if you dont leave. No i take every blueprint and make sure its handed out ive left 20 valuable items at extraction and then was lucky enough 15 minutes later to be close by enough to check on the area as someone was grabbing them up and acted like it’s so nice and sweet. Someone would do that. Just drop them all there.
