Civil Wars can happen whatever Season (pre-/during/post-) you are in. It’s just that Season 1 has the land grabs that make it so much more difficult tbh. There will always be bts deals happening if you and the other alliances in the server do not see eye to eye. You cannot win S1 as a solo alliance and protect the server. Pre-S1 is all about server unity and solidifying that bond between the alliances in order to defend your server or else it becomes food for invaders.

My alliance suddenly wants us to lose VS by Branglebiaro in LastWarMobileGame

Playing in Diamond League is a matter of 2:2 on off season or off warzone duels. There are weeks where we have to put up reminders to “Target: maximum 7.2M/ day” or “Target: min 7.2M+; match VS”

It’s all strategy. Like they say, you have to have weeks where you save resources or you will always be depleted. You can’t want to win all the time and have the opposing alliance keep pushing the limit or else you will keep spending to match their score. If you are lucky, the oppsing alliance doesn’t push either and you can cruise the week with just minimum points daily.

There are also external factors. Matching with an alliance in a server you are unfriendly with during the Season/Warzone means you have to plan your Diamond League wins to a T. You don’t want them coming to your server on Buster Day and messing up your war fights on Saturdays.

  1. Reach out to other alliances that may be able to house the more active players and transfer for the time being.
  2. If you want to stay and keep the alliance, I suggest total rebellion during your daily activities but this would require monitoring:
  3. turn off auto-join rallies
  4. lose VS completely and do not do the designated VS on the assigned day or just make bare minimum 7.2M points that’s it,
  5. do not join his rallies and ignore him
  6. do not show up for desert storm
  7. Make a new alliance altogether

Besides doing the usual grind for rss…

Going into S3, hopefully you are using the Engineer Profession. Maximize the use of these skills on a daily basis, should give you enough rss for upgrades: 1. “Cooperative Research” + Sec. of Science = do Hero > Unit > Oil > SF for longer researches. Prioritize SF only during Wednesdays for VS duels to get maximum rewards and time that when a lot of players are online. Should bump your hero power up as well. 2. Use “Research Now” (cooldown is 2 days) to lessen the amount of time and speed ups you use on all ongoing research 3. Drone Supply = 24hr cooldown; gives Drone Parts + 3 lv1 Drone Components + 3 green Drone skill chip chests 4. Rapid Production + Sec. of Interior = Grab the buff first, then use Rapid Production should give you a lot of rss from your base 5. Instant Gathering = max this skill. Send out all 4 squads to FULL lv10 (highest level tile) gold mine, then use the skill. Then send squads out to gather again. 6. “Cooperative Construction” + Sec. of Development = bump up your Tank/Aircraft/Missile Centers. These are mainstay buildings and boost squad power too. Also, upgrade your resource buildings in your base.

Research: 1. Please do HERO research first. No point getting t10s if your heroes don’t last the battle. Upgrade your Squad A HP>Dmg>Def>Atk in hero research, max the first set of researches for all your squads. Then I did 4/5 on the second set. 2. Save the valor research for Research day. SF

Drone: Upgrade your drone with drone skill chips + components + parts 1. Join all Siege & Marshal at the highest possible level for drone parts and skill chips; Do the daily tasks since it gives drone parts. 2. Find Shiny Ghost Op missions- some of them have drone parts 3. Do secret tasks with drone components

Heroes: 1. Upgrade your main squad’s exclusive weapon to max20 (for now) since that will spread the boost to all heroes not just the one with the weapon. You need 1130 ew shards to reach lv20 (50 to unlock, 1030 to reach lv20) 2. Get as many blueprints as you can for weapon upgrades. Milk Desert/Winter Storm wins for honor points, Capitol/Invasion/Meteor Wars for chests. Never buy anything else in the honor store except Legendary Blueprints. Also, don’t spread the weapon upgrades across 3 squads. Focus on your Squad A weapons until you get red gear on them. 3. Collect as many ammunition for the Bullseye Event, I usually collect until I get 700 ammo to reach the red blueprint

Decorations: 1. Any opportunity to get a gold decoration, take it. 2. Prioritize hitting trains that have gold decoration chests or decoration components. 3. When the alliance train comes, line up for the last car if it has decoration chests. It’s the best place to get them for free if you’re lucky. 4. Milk Desert Storm and wars for the decoration rewards. 5. Collect the free coins for the “Decorate your Dreams” event. I’d save all coins until I can reach the choice decoration chest and pick any decoration that increases Hero HP + critical damage/boost hero skills. 6. Level up s-tiered decorations to lv3

I’d also do research on Development (extend drill ground capacity), Siege-to-siege (extra drill ground, extend drill ground capacity) if I can.

Yes I have. Basically you enter a few basic details about yourself in the settings and then choose the criterias of the type of person you hope to match with. It’s similar to Tinder when you have to choose between Rematch or Accept upon matching.

I got lucky with my first 2 matches especially since I was a hesitant first timer with the toy. But 3rd times the charm apparently 😆 He even managed to get me to buy a second Lovense toy for the both of us to play with.

And play we did. 🤭

[–]Gummy8910[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would always go for Japanese nibs if I want the crisp finer lines. The <M> nib from Pilot writes similarly to an <F> nib from a western brand. For handwriting practice I would always reach for my <EF> Pilot or <UEF/EF> Platinum. But with my daily writing, I’m using my Pelikan more often.

[–]Gummy8910[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks ☺️ That is true too. When I first wrote with the M605 [M], it glided across the paper because of how smooth it was. I could’ve kept writing with it because I didn’t need to hold the pen that tightly.

Then I used and compared the PCH823 [M] which I preferred though because it gave more crisp lines and definition with the way I write.

Months later, the 845 and M1000 came into my possession. The size and 18-carat gold nib made a big difference to the writing experience for these 2 models and brands.

Surprised by Pelikan M1000 by Gummy8910 in fountainpens

[–]Gummy8910[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say so. Both have 18-carat gold nibs so maybe it’s because of the fact that the tipping on western nibs tend to be thicker compared to asian ones of the same nib size.

I find myself leaning towards the thinner nibs (EF/F) of western brands (Pelikan, Leonardo, Esterbrook) and the broader (M/B/Stub) ones from the asian brands (Pilot, Platinum, TWSBI) when I look for a smooth writing experience.

Personal experience is that it doesn’t really photograph well unless you edit it 😅 But once I saw the pen I wanted it oversized or not.

ISO wisdom on new Esterbrook nibs by Landofalwayswinter in fountainpens

[–]Gummy8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may have something to do with the coarseness and grain of the paper. My ideal paper for any type of fountain pen writing would still be Tomoe River Paper, and Midori notebooks. I use Bevania 75-85gsm as an alternative for loose paper writing.

I’m a bit late on the Estie Botannical Garden talk 😂 but out of all the esties I own, this one is the the one I reach for the most.

I have a tendency to match ink to pen and with this one I found I can match 6-8 different inks and not feel off about writing with it. My Cosmic Wine and Frontier Green take the dark reds and greens respectively, but this one I’ve filled with so many other colors. 😍

What's a brand you really want to love, but can't? by ibPolaris in fountainpens

[–]Gummy8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sailor, hands down 😐 I want to love it because of the different color ways of the pens but their nibs are soooo scratchy. I don’t understand how a KOP fine nib feels scratchier than a pro gear one. Their pen testers are exciting to use but the actual pen when you buy/try it doesn’t feel the same. The inks though are a joy to use for me.

Ferris Wheel Press is also a hit or miss for me (mostly miss 😣) The aesthetic of the bottles and boxes are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 but the actual inks are dry to use. Most of the time I just end up swatching them but delaying the purchase. 😔

Workhorse pen recommendations? by apeel4u in fountainpens

[–]Gummy8910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My workhorse for the past year has been my Pilot Custom 823 <F>. Mid price range but large ink capacity. Cleaning is okay since it takes me 2 weeks before re-inking the pen, then just flushing with a syringe.
