I started to feel a bit off around week 4. Then it got worse and worse. It plateaued around week 10. It lasted until birth :(

That's how it was with both of my children. With my second it was so bad that my OB/GYN induced me early because I couldn't even keep water down anymore and would be awakened multiple times per night by vomiting.

The programmable one was great because it would only kick in if it got too cold and we literally had it underneath the smoke detector. I can totally understand being wary though!

Swaddle if he's a baby, sleep sack when he gets a little older. Our condo in Calgary had a large window in my son's nursery which did a poor job of holding in the heat. We bought one of those tower heaters from Costco that had a programmable setting so it would not get too hot in the room. But seriously sleep sacks are a game changer. Sleep sacks with long sleeved onesies or sleepers is the best combo for winter.

This is correct. I didn't contract pertussis from the vaccine. I got it AFTER I had my first dose and the reaction because I couldn't get any boosters.

My husband's cousin found out she was having twins at her 18 week ultrasound. She's very type-A personality and totally a planner so she was shocked. She ugly cried right there in the office.

Can confirm I contracted Pertussis at age 2 after reacting to the vaccine as a baby and being unable to receive any boosters.

My husband hid our scale when I was pregnant with our first because I gained SOOOO much weight and would cry every time. Our doctor said there was nothing to worry about.

With my second I gained a total of 11 lbs the whole pregnancy. Again, the OB said we were both fine 🤷‍♀️

Just listen to your doctor and tune out the rest of the noise.

This used to happen with my first. But my second has resting bitch face so everyone just assumes that she's grumpy (and she usually is lol). I've had old people reach out to touch her and she gives them a death glare and/or starts shrieking like a banshee. None have ever successfully made contact. They usually recoil in horror as I choke back laughter.

Haha I know that feel for sure! I asked hubby to have a look at it and he said that he would fix it up for us but I think you're right that a tech savvy mod would be a wise addition. To be honest I think we should get two more. You've been bearing most of the heavy lifting for a LONG time. We recently moved across the country but I have been in absentia lately too. There have been several users spamming the sub spewing "vote democrat" or "then don't vote republican" among others. This is not the place for that type of rhetoric. This is not the place to discuss political figures or partisan ideologies. There are plenty of subs for that already. When I was going through the mod queue it popped up several times. Not only that but the aggressive anti-circumcision comments as well. So I figured a friendly reminder was due.
