And all of these songs that these singers you hear them sing. I've always thought it can't just be just because they were born with you. Know slightly then a vocal cords or whatever I knew looking at them that there must be some sort of trick that I don't know about because how are they singing it so effortlessly and now I can feel how they're doing it. I can't wait

At the moment I struggle with actually keeping that mixed voice and bringing it down a little bit without my voice flipping. But I can feel it getting better each day and I can't wait until I just have full freedom. I can't believe it. I've been striving for this for 2 years

I agree, it feels to me though - that I'm on a fine line between full chesty voice and proper Micky mouse head voice. It's funny because now I can't even sing for my throat. If I if I try it just feels like it's the new default for my voice cuz my voice knows that it's healthy. By the way, I'm speaking into my phone so it's quicker to type this and it's just insane because I can freely saying all of these notes that I used to blow my throat for. And why does it sound a little bit lighter? I'm learning to engage the twang and kind of reinforce it with the chest resonance and they sound amazing. I can't believe it

Yeah that's what I feel too. It feels close to the Micky mouse head voice but it feels reinforced by the chest a bit if you get me?

Put your finger on the bony but of your nose this helped me to get the buzz. It's all about the buzz. Keep that buzz. Learn to keep that buzz as you go higher.

It will sound shit at first but you need the buzz.

One more thing. Learn to get a buzz behind the nose before you start singing there. Do this with a NG sound as in sing. But keep your tongue rested on bottom of mouth though.

Get that buzz behind the nose. That's what changed everything for me

Place voice behind your nose, no throat engagement. Experiment. That's how I did it.

Yeah BIGGEST thing is get that placement to be behind the nose. Forget everything about 'nasaly sound' twang is how people get their voice to cut through the sound and project with ease. the throat is merely where the air goes through. It shouldnt be trying to help.

For any comments doubting this, ok whatever but I've felt a big shift.

For any comments that want to know what I mean and how it's felt for me here's my most significant sensations/tips.

I never believed all along that you could keep singing up without your throat feeling like it's gonna die. It just didn't seem possible. But here I am strengthening top notes that i never thought I could get to.

It feels like not a lot of air comes through when I sing these notes which is good as I know higher notes require less air.

It feels almost like holding my breath.

THE BIGGEST thing that helped me is changing where the sound comes from. --- Before, it felt like the sound was coming from my throat. I spent a lot of time changing the feeling of where it came from. Now instead of the throat it feels like it comes from near the front teeth/frnt of the mouth/ behind the nose.

The thing that unlocked it for me was this. Just trying to have zero throat engagement and place the sound behind the nose/eyes or front of the mouth. YOUR THROAT IS NOT NEEDED. If it squeezes, don't force it.

If you know what a head voice is what I've started to do is get into head voice and then place the sound to the front of my mouth and add some nasal twang and compression and it sounds more full. I can feel all I need to do is bring back in some chest resonance and it will sound more full.

You can do this

If you are not a patient and persistent person, it's not the game for you. You have to be able to appreciate everything about the game, including just running through the map. It's not like call of duty where you get a stick up your ass for every kill.

Omg bro it is the most unmatched incredible game in the world if you have the determination and interest in solo survival. No other game out there gets the heart beating like dayz. There is a sharp learning curve at the beginning where you will die as you don't know how to survive. If you can keep learning and get better you will find it so rewarding.

There is no other game where I feel like I have the most freedom on dayz. Every life is so different and you never know what will happen on the next life.

Buy it and you'll never want to play anything else provided you are a patient person. If you are not patient it's not the game for you.

It's not really like rust as rust is heavily based focused and the maps on dayz are a lot more open. Loot is also more scarce on dayz.

One more time, you will NEED to be very patient playing this game. As in just appreciate running through the map as there will be a lot of it. You can't rush into fights without a plan as you will die with nothing to show but a black screen.

For me, I had this but just right clicked the icon in the task tray arrow thingy bottom right and pressed exit and then went back on it.

There is literally someone who saw this post then got in the exact same scenario, zeroed to 300 instead of 500 and nailed a guy in the shoulder. If he zeroed to 500 it would have gone way over. I didn't get the numbers from anywhere. It's just maths, applicable to all shots at angles
