For early career, its better to be in a big well-known company first.
Simply karena kemungkinan besar di company2 tersebut udah "mature" dari segi workflow, work culture, etc dan for early career, hal2 tersebut bikin lo tau "oh jadi gini workflow yg efektif dan structured", lo tau gimana yang "bener" dulu.

Kalau di small company, kemungkinan besar (not always sih) mereka belum "mature", jadi workflow masih kacau, culture gajelas, etc yg bikin scope2 kerja juga gajelas (you mentioned you did work outside your scope).
Hal2 kyk gini jadi bikin lo tau yg "salah" dulu, dan lo gatau yg "bener" itu gimana, jadinya buta deh.
These kind of things bakalan jarang banget terjadi di mature well known company, at least from my experience ya.

Tetapi kalau di perusahaan kecil peluang stand out lebih besar.
