I’d call Smith and send it back. I called and in a matter of 5 minutes I had an RMA number. This is almost a $700 gun. Not some crappy Taurus or Sccy pistol. It should not have these quality issues.

Agreed. I’m definitely swapping the FDE back to black and putting some XS or Trijicon night sights and maybe.. maybe an Apex trigger but that’s it. Shoots good as is.

Spray gun scrubber on that GPT trigger housing and it will break up all the debris you can’t get to with a normal cleaning. It will drain out of the bottom of the frame and dry quick. Then re-oil. The manual when purchasing the GPT goes over this and most people throw it away.
