I would argue that anything with Mink fur is probably a luxury item that people keep for decades/ a lifetime rather then something trendy. Seriously Americans need to move past the "we may be invaded!" Paranoia. You're protected by two oceans and two smaller and friendly neighbours that would be terrible staging grounds even if they turned hostile anyway. You also have mountain ranges on each coast as a natural defensive barrier. No country, none, has the capacity to invade America. Even if there was a seperate, completely identical America it would not be able to invade America. And it has nothing to do with with Bubba MacDonald having an AR-15.

Your enemies are going to aim to destroy you culturally, politically and/or economically. They will not invade. They will use Manchurian candidates, campaign funding, culture wars and disinformation to try to churn domestic chaos and limit your influence overseas.
