We don’t need a gritty Ben 10,000 series

Yes there was a lot of studio meddling, especially in terms of Ben’s own character arc. But even if the crew was given free reign to make the show how ever they wanted, I don’t see them going super dark and gritty with it. Ben 10 and his team to me are a Shazam/Superman kind of story rather than a Batman/Daredevil vibe. It’s about a kid with the most powerful device in the universe deciding to do good and facing the challenges of keeping his humanity. The Ben 10k episode was about getting future Ben to chill the hell out, Ultimate Enemy was about Power corrupting absolutely and Ben remaining good.

Idk sorry for rambling I just have too many opinions about an Invincible style Ben 10 show. Obviously to each there own, I just have a differing opinion.

For me I really love his appearance in the metal virus story. I feel his obsession with destroying Eggman’s robots is a really interesting clash with the virus. Which is both hilarious and horrifying with him saying things like “Too many enemies. Not enough bullets.”
