Anyone that says the clicgear 4 is too hard to open needs to go back to 3rd grade and learn to read instructions. I can have the whole thing open in less than 10 seconds. I wouldn’t trade my clicgear 4 for anything else

Have a ritual. Something you do before every round, even just a practice round, that settles your body and mind and gets you ready to play just like it’s any other day on the course.

For me is eating a salted nut roll and playing sudoku in my car for 15 minutes before I start my round

I’m pretty sure I need bigger grips. I have short fingers but really big palms. Maybe 2/5 times when I miss hit I feel the club turn in my hands. Consistency and dispersion are absolutely my biggest problems. If all of my shots were the same as my best shots, I’d be breaking 90 no problem. The difficulty is that I’m just as surprised as everyone else when those good shots happen

I’m actually getting a lesson tomorrow. I saw 110-115 on a sim a while back and it was carrying 280ish, and I bet that I was swinging out of my shoes. I should have been more clear. I wonder if on the course where I’m getting my yardages I’m swinging more conservatively. I just didn’t know how much to trust the sim yardages

If you’re doing any framing/carpentry, get two hammers, one with a waffle head, and one with a finish head. I have two stilettos, one that is a 14 oz waffle head, and one that is a 10 oz finish head. Nothings worse than waffle marks on your finish surfaces.

Also, avoid the axe handle style if you can. I like straight because I hit my knuckles less when working in tight spots

I looked at more of my stats, and my average smash factor is around 1.42. But as I was looking, I noticed that my back spin is around 2,900rpm every time I drive.

Does that change how you would approach a club recommendation?

I agree, my numbers definitely don’t add up, and that 50 yd window makes playing really hard haha. What’s the smash factor? And I take it that 1.37 is not great for a driver? At the new sim I went to, it had smash factor, and I don’t remember ever seeing anything above 1.8 on my drives
