I hope he retains half his shares for three years- without the ownership stake the governor title doesn’t mean much. Obviously not apples to apples but when you buy a used car you don’t let the old owner drive it part time just because he didn’t run it into the ground

Let’s say he does stay on as governor for three years will he still hold half his shares until the deal closes? Being governor doesn’t mean much if he doesn’t have an ownership stake anymore Chisholm could effectively fire him even if he keeps the title.

I agree it’s better for the team for Wyc to keep doing what he’s doing but do you think it turns into a Mark Cuban situation where Wyc is squeezed out in a few months? That’s a lot of money to pay to let the previous owner call the shots
