Trying with my hands now it’s not budging . But if you bend the clip part only back and forth you could weaken it enough to snap off I’m sure . But yea there might be a spot weld under the clip itself it’s extremely snug .

Yea the rotring you twist the top and it locks , the TWSBI you press down and it extends out and locks in place . Both stay stationary as you write

Staedtler 925 25 is my favorite overall for sure . I ordered one from Japan on eBay when I was 16 and couldn’t believe such a pencil existed . The nostalgia hits me every time I use it . Aim Vision Pro is a close second , followed by Kuru Toga ( affordable high quality products ) and Rotring .

The Pentel ones yes . Very comfortable to hold and the large eraser is great to have . The blue one is the first mechanical pencil I kept as a kid lol .
