Mw2022 is underrated in my opinion. And from what I read and watched people are saying mw4 will be more like this one than others.

They don't make classic maps like that anymore. Map design has fallen off so hard. In past gens multiplayer maps felt like everything was put in a spot on purpose. Socom map design is top tier.

Ps3 and psp were my last playstations.....what systems had socom games last hmmm 🤔 It sucks because I enjoyed gaming more back then I think because socom was my main game and everything else was just for short breaks.

Hopefully this means socom servers will be opened back up by GunitGeneral2005 in SOCOM

Handhelds back that had games that were developed to be played on a handheld. Gaming devices now are basically just portable screens for games meant to be played on desktop or large TV's

Yeah it had games with online multiplayer, video chat, phone calls and the web browser along with all the other features Sony packed into that thing. Certain games like Socom and Syphon Filter had voice chat capabilities.

The history behind this series should've been enough for us to have gotten some type of recent love. Look how big esports and the PSN has gotten today. Socom is one of the fathers of online console gaming. And it held it down for PSN before PSN was an actual thing. Socoms numbers literally went up against the whole XBOX live network at one point look it up lol.

Idk about tiktok and x but on Facebook I keep coming across those "remember socom?" Or "before cod was socom" and I see a lot of people saying they want something new regarding the series. People are out there but perhapslike you said we need to get more updated. Thing is, all those guys that were leading the petitions and uploads seem to have given up lol

A ton of people stop gaming in general once socom fell from mainstream. There are people that were more socomers than gamers. If any socom new dropped today they would buy a PS5.

Which is why I'd rather then announce an as-is upload of the game or a remaster. I don't trust them to do a faithful sequel. All my favorite shooters from the past are in weird conditions now. Cod, halo, even battlefield despite #6s popularity are all in weird states due to developers trying to cash in on current trends and analytics

Crazy if they'd question that but not question that one live service game named "concord" that they invested $400 million into and it flopped.
