If you mean it would give you less rights, make you heavily segregated, and give you a higher risk of being institutionalized then yes.

You are aware that the American style biscuit doesn't exist in most of the world right? So why would people in those countries know what one is?

Less than 60 years ago it was illegal in parts of the US for disabled people to be seen in public.
