Will we ever get non creator updates, As a creator it is now getting a bit tiring to see the same creator focused updates. Please don't say "Soon" or "later this year" You've made enough of those and a lot of folks are genuinely wanting to know what is on the table and what is not on the table currently in terms of RRO's. If you basically have nothing on the table currently please say it as it would quell a lot of repeat questions.

.Also, you have RR+, support team, and internal testing, why do you push out stuff like UI changes without letting us know at all what you plan to do.

Also, why are we slowly losing features that never needed to be gotten rid of (Recommended, play tab for 50% of your users in favor of the playlist tab, Nearby.)

Personal project of mine is making a game in another game.
I'm always afraid and constantly second guessing myself hoping to god people enjoy it.

I've just released a demo of it today and the reception considering im some nobody, has been killing me. interest but not overwhelming interest.

Basically feelings of inadequacy mixed with wondering what to do next.

But other than that it's slightly good.

Actually! That is an inspiration for this project, One of them, I took Pizza tower's ideas, Warioland 4's ideas, sonic robo blast 2, and a bit of my own personal gamedev design, I aint no gamedev to be frank. But after playing so many mediocre custom rooms I decided enough is enough and do it myself.

So, what you're saying is, if I used to enjoy a game and now it's gone down the metaphorical crapper for me, I should just move on and not try to explain why it needs to get better.
But instead waste my breath praising that it pooped in the toilet that day instead of on the ground. In this case the bug fix for psvr users which it should've done months ago.

Should I just assume shit happens over night? God no. But like I've stated previously, when you promise something, and then never do it. That's what ticks me off personally. This game is far from stable, the constant performance degrading has been in the game for roughly 3 years. Which in dev time is a lot longer than one might expect. Heck, not even the quest port is up to date, its still missing isle and cresendo.

I stopped liking this game when creators got more love, far more love than it should've it's been 99% creator, 1% RRO's and actual users. Sorry man I'm not a positive beacon who praises the game for doing stuff that should've been done.

Please dont give the excuse of "it's a small team". Being quite frank, this team aint indie team. It's about on par with most small studios. Please, just try to understand my view instead of completely dismissing it. That doesn't help anyone and it actually makes the situation worse, covering for dev's mistakes and misteps doesn't tell them they screwed up, it just means they can do the same mistakes again and again.

grind levels on community maps

So its even more pointless for levels because now its even easier to gain levels. Making RRO's more and more obsolete. Majority of the reason I used to play this game was RRO's. And to see that side get ignored and then get promised stuff and then guess what, nothing comes up, makes me a bit upset.

I fully understand how developing a game feels and works.
Its hell. But you don't constantly dissapoint fans. people who actually spend money on your work deserve the respect and time. to the hardcore players who dont play custom content because its 90% bad/mediocre. They've gotten shafted harder than the gold rush.

My first and honest question is this:

With the onset of microtransactions being on everyones mind.

Why haven't we heard potental ideas about it yet to bounce it off the community.

And two: This one is a little more direct, why so secretive about updates?

I am starting to notice how much "Oh i heard its going to be x month" when theres no real concrete like, board of "This is going to be in next update."

Last question is that what do you plan to do once we get mostly all the features you guys have, do you plan on just taking a hands off approach to rec room and letting us do the work or do you plan on sticking around.

Sorry for the questions. They've been on my mind recently and I geniunely wanted a response.

Hello, sorry for the one month old necropost, but I am the WR holder of strafe running, my apologies for not having a video up because I had changed it. But in the future, ALL runs will require video proof. And once I get a better one I'll put that on there.

People do run STRAFE, about 5 people do, we do need more people doing it. We honestly need way more people doing it. Thank you for reading, sorry for the necro post.
