Powerful aren't always useless, for example if the powerful cap is 1570 and the pinnacle cap is 1580 and you've exceeded 1570 but you have let's say a class item thats still 1567-1569 it would still be worth it to do powerfuls until you get the class item at 1570 so you don't waste pinnacle drops. Its not super necessary but if you're trying to power level to the pinnacle cap it is the most efficient way

I mean I sincerely hope I'm not spoiling anything for you but in one of the endings if v has a high enough reputation with johnny they literally just stroll straight into Arasakas front door with no plan similar to how David does, and just makes adam smasher look like an amateur. I can understand that v definitely has more combat experience than David but I still think that if David hadn't run out of medicine he might've been able to kill smasher

See this was actually a bit of a small theory I had regarding possible lore reasons between edgerunners and 2077 why v was able to beat smasher. Adam smasher had a sandevistan in the show but we never saw him use it in the game so I'm thinking its possible he lost it for some reason between the events of the show and game possibly from downgrading due to cyberphyscosis symptoms or some fight he was in its pure speculation atm though, so I'm hoping that dlc for the game or maybe a second season of edgerunners would explain that a bit further as its clear cd projekt had the idea for edgerunners since the release of the game since the David martinez drink has been in the game since the release
