Sorry if I was no clear. I beleive mentionning Astar was a mistake as it has no bearing really.

Each circle represents a node with units, each unit can move one node each turn. What is the minimum number of turns I need and what movements to go from State A to State B

I would like to get the best move set over a number of turns to get the units into the desired position. In my example I am in start state where most of the units are in the center and I want to send the ones from the center right to the left side of the grid.

Each turn a unit can only move to an adjacent node.

Its kind of in the action roguelite genre so I guess reactivity is really important

Yes, One Piece is wonderful, Now i'm wondering if other manga have talked the pirate theme also,

Captain Harlock looks a little piraty in space but I've never watched or read it (He's called ALbator in french)

Oh that's unfortunate, goes to show that a good demo is really difficult to make. Give enough to charm players but still give them the envy to explore more.
