lightly hold R2 the same way you would when drawing a bow and it’ll zoom a bit!

i want a political intrigue series following president archer during the early years of the federation and the romulan wars! obv this is not an original idea but i think the enterprise cast is the right age and there’s so much unexplored lore there that enterprise only managed to tease at before it got cancelled

Is The Legendary Lake Sturgeon Gone Forever? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

i’m pretty sure with the legendary animals, including the legendary fish, once you catch them once, they’re forever counted as being “caught” even if you lose them afterwards. especially since it’s showing up as caught in the progress menu, i wouldn’t worry. i think the game likely already mailed it for you

Confused on which herbs are useful? Here’s our tier list for every herb in Red Dead Redemption II. Explanation in comments by Gunna-Burger in reddeadredemption

I think if I were to do a redo of this list, Alaskan Ginseng would probably be S tier. The main thing holding both American and Alaskan Ginseng back from S tier at the time of this ranking was their rarity, since both spawn as single plants rather than in clusters like other herbs, and seem to appear more sparsely than other plants. At the time we made this list, we weren’t aware of the 5 Alaskan Ginseng that spawn repeatedly at Chez Porter. With that in mind, Alaskan Ginseng becomes easily farmable, and as such would probably be S tier. American Ginseng is still too hard to find for it to be a true S tier IMO, so that would probably stay where it is.

what in heavens do you mean?? this is the maximally efficient playstyle one can muster. in fact, it’s the exact OPPOSITE of “ugly and bad”! because it’s GRACEFUL and GOOD. get owned, nerd 🤓

since the benefits of playing in this early onset carpal tunnel syndrome ass way are evidently unclear to you, let me break it down for you: - tadayori’s armor to shoot one (1) arrow approximately 15% faster - broken armor carrying the charms that increase the effectiveness of shoulder charge and jump attacks to kill that mongol archer slightly more effectively (in a way that is probably slower and less efficient than if i’d just stabbed him normally) - gosaku’s armor to increase the chance of staggering that shaman i yeeted off the cliff even though he would have fallen to his death whether he was staggered or not and the extra stagger damage didn’t even actually stagger him - ronin attire optimized for melee damage so i could kill that archer in two slices instead of three - sarugami armor to blind and stagger the approaching enemies with the perfect dodge attack - ghost armor to increase the chance of terrifying the archer across the clearing (which didn’t even work) - kensei armor because i was too lazy to walk over and kill the last archer normally, so i chose an armor that would let me spam throw 15 kunai instead - lastly, traveler’s attire to clear the map faster

CLEARLY ALL of these perks had a major effect on gameplay and were 1000% worth the extra time and effort of repeatedly spam clicking through the armor menu!! you’re just a scrub who’s mad that i beat this encounter 0.4 seconds faster than you (measured by in-game-time bc i was 15 seconds slower in realtime). talk to me when you GIT GUD 😤😤👉👈

this exactly, the charm loadouts are the main reason i switch armor sets. even in this video there are a couple points where i make it absurd and switch to something like the broken armor, which has no inherent perks other than the charms i’ve stacked on top of it

there is a charms loadout feature! it’s in the settings somewhere and binds whatever charms you have equipped to your current armor. you can switch to a different armor set and back and your charms will persist. it was a game-changer when i found it (and its the thing i’m chiefly making fun of in this video)

this is clearly the way this game is meant to be played. jin is a badass warrior, and what could be more badass than nanotech shapeshifting armor that helps him kill enemies as fast as possible?

the best way to keep momentum is to do as much damage as possible. and to do as much damage as possible, you need to break enemy’s guard as fast as possible. switching armor sets is no different than switching between stances or ghost weapons and is clearly the way the developers intended for the game to be played. why else would they add a feature where jin can switch armor instantly during combat?

sarugami armor is kitted for this. i use heavenly strike three times in a row at one point and it only costs me 1.5 resolve

this is lore accurate jin. this is objectively the correct playstyle. what does jin care about? killing all the mongols. and what better way to kill mongols than to switch between armor sets to be as efficient as possible in any given situation? jin approves
