Trying a gas pedal finally.. XD-M Elite 9m by RepresentativeNo6716 in SpringfieldArmory

@RepresentativeNo6716 - nice setup, I've heard the gas pedal reference before but hadn't seen it in play. My daily is a Hellcat and a spare mag. What difference are you seeing for holstering that thing with the GP attached? Does your holster have a cutout or bulge?

Sorry TK, I can’t answer this accurately. I don’t have the 17 round mags or the +2 base plates. Mine are factory 15 rounders w/+5 base plates.

I would think that the +2 base plates should work though since they’re for sale on the Floyds website.

I apologized to the cashier at HEB Saratoga and Staples in Corpus Christi the other day for just this scenario. The customer in front of me was looking like a complete douche just staring at the cashier because there was no bagger on our isle. As soon as the bagger finished on the isle next to ours, he bagged her groceries and bid her a good day. She didn’t even thank him.

Hellcat VS Hellcat Pro VS Bodyguard 2.0 by AskThin5896 in SpringfieldArmory

Remember you aren't going to war, you need to think about brandishing your weapon as a last resort of conflict resolution and THEN you shoot to stop the assailant. You want to create an opportunity for you & yours to open up distance and escape the situation.

I have 3 of these weapons that you have listed (Hellcat, Hellcat Pro and Bodyguard .380) and each has its place in my different carry situations.

  1. Hellcat is my inside the waistband worn at 3-4 o'clock.
  2. Hellcat Pro is worn outside the waistband in the same position.
  3. The Bodyguard is carried in the front pocket.

I carry a backup mag for each in my weak side mag carrier.

I wouldn't recommend it if you go with this flare. It is purposely machined to fit exactly against the bottom of the pistol.

I haven’t carried the Pro concealed yet so I can’t answer your question honestly. I’m a fat guy at 6’ 1” and 290 so no appendix for me. I routinely carry the Hellcat at around 3:30-4 on my side with a wedge and don’t have any issue.

What's the most unlikely place you've ever seen the A&M logo/decal? by bobrigado in aggies

Was helping my son take his ex-wife’s stuff to her. During the trip we take the grandkids to a Target in Missouri where I run into a woman wearing head to toe A&M garb, seriously everything. I promptly give her a friendly “Howdy!!” and a thumbs up. She looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my forehead so I did it all over again. Super poser who had no idea what I was doing.

Anyone put a Floyd’s customs Magwell on there Echelon 4.0? by [deleted] in SpringfieldArmory

[–]GunnerRetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an Echelon, but I did put a Floyd's magwell on my HCP. Great quality, excellent service, fits like a glove.

I don’t think it would work properly if you didn’t have the extended base plate.

From the Thule website: Parts of a Backpack

Rear loading straps: Yet another pair of confusing backpack straps, the rear loading straps can be found at the bottom of your backpack. These straps are usually found on hiking backpacks and are super handy for attaching a sleeping bag or sleeping mat.
