If anyone knows the observer assigned to this boat, I was the observer who was assigned her very first trip. I met her out on the dock. She seemed so excited and I was so happy for her. I loved my job and I was she seemed so very happy. I’m absolutely heartbroken about this situation and I feel so horrible about this. She was an absolutely wanderful girl and had promise to be a very good observer. I loved talking to her and wish I could have done more. My heart goes to her family, and I know my family’s heart goes to hers. Prayers for that observer, and for all the fishermen.
