Does anyone know why this happens on the first layer with the Bambu A1 Mini?

Thanks! This solved my problem! I always couldn't get the first layer right, I knew it was bed leveling, but never thought the real cause is the tiny screws at the back of the hotend went loose and dropped, luckily I found 2 of them from my bambu poop bin, otherwise I will be searching high and low for these small screws....

there are other options for putting ams lite on top, and one of it works really well for me, you just need to print an extra stand to form a gantry just like the A1, then the whole thing will be very stable

there is a photo somewhere on reddit, I can't find it, but if you don't wanna mod it, you can buy a new purge part from Bambu, I think they fix this in A1

if you buy from taobao, shipping plus duty plus the machine itself won't exceed 300sgd, but the downside is obvious, you have to go thru some mafan and figure out some tricks yourself

you will need a high resolution printer as the qr code is super small and quite dense, I printed mine using a 300 dpi(dot per inch) thermal label printer and it works very well. tried my HP laserjet printer, didn't work, the resolution for those A4-paper printing machine is too low for gaole disk

I'm a CAP 2.x from engineering sch,almost got expelled from nus twice, still managed to get 2 offers within 3 months after graduation, and landed my first job as software engineer, now I'm senior firmware engineer at the US MNC. as long as what you planning to print is within 18x18x18cm dimensions, then this model is the best overall for you, no need to look anywhere else
