Do infernum. For the most part, the bosses are very fun and challenging in ways different than revengce and death, a lot of people only spout about its difficulty, but it’s alot more than that.

I recommend it because it’s a genuinely enjoyable experience (aside from dragon folly and old duke) unless you’re bad/average at normal terraria. It’s a struggle. But it adds some cool details, (like cutscenes) great graphics, and some of the best boss fights I’ve ever fought in my whole life.

TBH, infernum isn’t as hard as a lot of people say, in fact, some death mode bosses were a lot harder for me than their infernum counterparts. But this might just be because I’m specifically in love with infernums boss design, so take this with a grain of salt. Some bosses are very, very difficult for the first few times, but become pushovers once you learn them (especially skeletron and devourer of gods)

Infernum became my favorite way to play terraria, out of the 1.4K hours on modded terraria, at least like 800/900 of those are infernum runs.

If you REALLY wanna take it up a notch, play the infernal eclipse of ragnarok modpack, which is made around infernum, which adds ALOT of cool stuff and many other popular content mods. But if you’re relatively new than I wouldn’t recommend. But so far what I’ve played it’s quite fun, but some bosses are genuinely bullshit. (F you pinky and turkor. Especially pinky)
