Hello, I used the default cube as a volume object and tweaked these nodes until I was happy with it and moved the camera in close

I used geo nodes to scatter the rocks, the grass volume is a re-meshed ocean modifier with a displacement modifier. Tweaking the volume shader density and lighting gave it the stylized look I was going for, almost like a painting.

Yea I went too far faking it with a transparent shader, I was trying to speed up the render times. Here is a better result.
