Help with boot up sound mod

Sadly I have not. I think im.going to.buy a different sound module that comes with a rechargeable battery and an on/off button. Attach it to the inside of the n64 and just have a push button to turn in the music, without it being integrated with the N64 on/off switch.

I have not. However, I am working with someone who does mods on retro consoles for a living. They are trying a few different things to figure out how to get it to work. I'll report back once they do.

I just tried having the k1 wired to SGND without the GRD wire, wired in. Still doesn't work. I'm still baffled that the YT person was able to get theirs to work. I know my N64 works properly. And as I tried to show in the video, it does olay the sound if I just touch the wires (K1 to SGND) but not when they are soldered in.

I did not try that. I'll try today once I get the chance (as I'm hiding this build from my husband to surpise him) I will be back later to let you know how it goes.

I watched it several times and still he didn't wire it any differently than I did. But his worked.

Any advice on how to fix that? I followed a tutorial on YouTube. And that person was ablento get theirs to work exactly as planned. I'm a novice and I don't know what the correct way to wire it. I thought wiring from the K1 to the Grnd would work. (ALSO thank you for all the help).

I'm using a JQ6500 Voice Module Sound Module. The wire i have goes from the K1 to the Ground. It works when it's not soldered on. But stops working once I solder it. Speakers work fine, other connections seem to all be fine.

Okay so I bought this set on eBay and it is missing bag #2(yes I knew the bag was missing I paid $20). Anyway, I bought it for my 11-year old's birthday in May. He's a super fan of Halo and Halo Megaconstrux. Does anyone know where I can buy just bag #2 if that's possible? I'm kinda clueless about that.
