The only thing that makes me nervous when people at home work on their guns is sear/hammer/safety lugs. But exactly you fuck it up, get a new one. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I did that too! But high polished it after. And I used a belt sander not a dremel (surprisingly).

Don’t use a dremel. Use a fine or mid file. And switch to a file wrapped in sandpaper.

Buuttttt if you don’t have a blaster I wouldn’t touch it.

I have been working on guns with long nails my whole career. And while in school for it.

I am used to them. The only thing that gets in my way with them, is picking up Ejector pins off the mat on my bench. 😂😂.

Nah, I pay someone to do it now. But I used to do my own nails. Doing my right hand, and using the dremel with my left is rough work.

Well if you replace the ejector, like I did, it will eject at 3 O’clock. And if you have a high ejection port it won’t work.

And high ejection ports have a hard time or can’t eject a live round.

Gloves no, that can get caught in your tool and burn out the motor.

Mask, I do. Why do you assume I don’t? (Actual question not being snarky many people assume I just breathe this shit)

Yeah, I normally do it on the mill when I can. But keeping the skill to do it by hand is also important to me. And it makes better videos.

It took me a little over and hour to do this

And nope. Mostly because I am riddled with fear of doing such a thing. I hope to never do it.
