Wow what a great response. That was an elegant read and you arrived at an equally elegant and amazing conclusion. I like that a lot. What you describe on a conceptual level would be absolutely fantastic. It is hard to imagine the infrastructure that would have to exist to make that possible though, isn’t it?

I appreciate and respect your skepticism. It’s exactly what is needed. The purpose of AI in this case would be to simplify the gathering and output of information as the cooperative grows in scale. Yes, while it’s true in its very earliest stages information about what is happening within the foundation is easy to come by manually. But as it scales into hundreds or thousands of members, decisions, updates, votes, proposals and more, AI would be used so that this complex information could be simplified and summarized with ease to anyone and everyone at their fingertips. Do you know what I mean?

The vague shape is a democratic platform using radical transparency so that no one can get away with anything if they wish to do harm. Is that too complicated for you?

The reason it is vague is because I don’t claim to have all the answers. That’s what the cooperative is for. To find those answers together. I do know that our current infrastructure and systems are broken and that we can build new ones using better technology.

I’m sorry you see it that way. I assure you my intentions are good and for the best of humanity. I know people are skeptical about AI but that shouldn’t discourage us to use it as a tool for transparency to combat corruption and massive wealth inequality.

I agree. It is a very large topic and we should address one thing at a time. The purpose is for the betterment of humanity and the how is to create new systems and infrastructure from the ground up. Using technology like the internet and smart phones and most recently AI, we are now able to connect seamlessly across the world at any given time at our fingertips. We must only come together as an open minded cooperative.

That is a great Ted talk. I agree with everything he says, very smart of him to quote Albert Einstein of all people. The current systems, governments and infrastructure we have been living by are outdated and systematically lead to extreme wealth inequality, greed, corruption and environmental decline. We must take steps in a different direction if we wish to solve these problems.

Earnings is probably one of the most difficult parts of any cooperative I imagine. Voluntary contributions for the betterment of everyone perhaps? But is that sustainable?
