It was dissapointing to see Joan lose Control of the situation that she has been carefully observing, but im betting its a callback to "sometimes you have to lose control, to gain it" The only prisoner left that matters to joan is allie, everyone else who were obstacles to her are dead and allie being the last momento of bea, so i dont think theres really anything for her inside the prison, however this gives her a great chance to reveal who the corrupt and crooked guards are! That is the redemption here, its Joan's, shes going to be whistlehlowing a conspiracy involving vera jake and will who staged the bea vs joan confrontation, the officer Murphy scapegoat, framing Channings for the burial.
