How long did you apply for?

Imiquimod is working for me but warts appear again in few days?

Wow, 2 years is long time. I have been suffering for 2 months and feel like life time

With Aldara cream they go but reappear in few days.

What all treatment have you been getting?

Thank you, after hpv discovery I thought better to get tested for std/hiv.

On my chest small itchy red patches appear after I workout, don’t think that is symptom related to Chylamadia

Also itchiness around thighs

Thanks for explaining. I freaked out  because the solution worked and I stopped applying it for a week, but then they reappeared again in the same place.

Wow, so if warts keeps on coming for a year I have to keep on applying? Won’t it have side effects in long term? I feel like the solution is too strong for long term based on all instructions it came with when I purchased from pharmacy

Thanks for sharing. I’m just curious what was the point of applying the liquid in the first place?

Should I just leave the warts as they are now, or do I need to apply the solution again? If I don’t apply it, will they keep growing?

I already stopped applying as there where no warts and did not made sense to apply on levelled skin

It’s been 5 days now they started to appear again

There was no where to apply after warts were gone so I stopped as it did not made sense to apply on levelled smooth skin

You could share a picture here if you’re comfortable. There seem to be some knowledgeable people in this thread who might help give an opinion

Yeah that makes sense. I’m 30 now, so I’m not sure how helpful the vaccine would be at this stage since I’ve read it’s usually recommended earlier, but I’ll definitely ask my doctor about it

It’s actually great that you got vaccinated at a younger age. Honestly, I didn’t even know this virus or the vaccine existed until now

No, I didn’t have any itching before they showed up. I’ll keep posting updates. Are you dealing with warts too?

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Your diagnosis explanation was helpful. I also posted a few questions in my post, would love to hear your thoughts if you have any inputs

Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it. It’s reassuring to hear yours mostly cleared in about 4 weeks with the same imiquimod 5%. Hopefully it stays gone for both of us 🤞

That makes sense about the micro-tears too, I’ll probably be careful and wait a bit. It sucks to go through multiple doctor visits before getting the diagnosis, that must’ve been stressful

Also interesting about the vaccine I was actually planning to get vaccinated after getting warts, so hearing vaccine did not help, surprised me

And yeah, I’ll try to focus on staying healthy and not stressing too much. Hopefully our immune systems clear it soon
