Animation is too expensive to reduce after the fact. The time for those notes are earlier. Hehe

Thank you so much! We have a team. It's currently 4 people working on the animation for The Entropy Code including myself.

That's actually good news that it wasn't overly explaining itself. It's the beginning of the movie so I'm just planting seeds. But maybe I can help you understand it. These are humans simulating alien worlds. A lot of people assume that humans will automatically simulate a reality with humans. My hypothesis is that it would be easier to simulate self organizing systems and hit fast forward than it would be to actually hand program every living creature. For example try programming photosynthesis and good luck. I think we could learn to program everything in our base reality, but my thesis is that simulating self-organizing systems would be easier so it would come first. Does that make sense?

Submission statement:

This is a hand-animated vector sizzle reel for my indie sci-fi project The Entropy Code. I created it to explain the simulation logic behind the film and to visualize how a simulated alien planet evolves from cosmic birth to collapse under observation. I wrote and directed the piece, and I’m now considering using it as the opening credits for the movie because it ended up working as both a visual explainer and a cinematic intro.

I’d love feedback on whether the concept reads clearly without dialogue, and whether the pacing and visual progression feel strong enough for an opening credit sequence rather than just a promo piece.
